This report by the European Commission summarises the findings related to flood mitigation and coastal resilience from the report ‘Nature-based Solutions: State of the Art in EU-funded Projects’ (Wild et al. (Eds.) 2020). The different projects were analyzed for results related to key areas such as the Floods Directive, the EU Action Plan on the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030, and the EU Strategy on Adaptation to Climate Change.
