Andrea Staccione (KIT) and Alfredo Reder (CMCC) introduce the concept of Nature-based Solutions and their many contexts of application regarding their ability to work positively in mitigating the effects of climate change and disaster reduction. In addition, the webinar emphasizes the importance of local communities and citizens, whose participation in developing shared knowledge and creating a critical mass in their territories is essential for implementing resilient ecosystems.
