This report collects the results of the POSBEMED project, funded by the EU, with the objective of defining a common strategy for the sustainable management of beaches with banquettes in the Mediterranean Sea area. In particular, the project advocates a more nature-oriented management of the Posidonia landscape and of beaches with Posidonia banquettes as a strategy to improve the climate resilience of coastlines.
